Update all the time
Being a web designer / programmer I run 3 different browsers on my desktop (Firefox, Safari & IE) and 5 on my laptop (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Chrome & Opera). I find it valuable to be able to switch between browsers for cross browser testing and making sure our sites look the same, no matter what web browser you use to view it. I consistently find myself having to update our clients software to the latest version, mostly Internet Explorer.
Update Flash
In case you don’t know what Adobe Flash is, I’ll lay it down in one sentence. Videos, interactivity, file uploaders, web based applications and a lot of other new age multimedia on the web requires Flash to run. Just be sure to click “UPDATE” and NOT IGNORE when Adobe Flash wants to update.
